Does Recipage work with every blogging platform?
The RecipagePRO program, works on any self-hosted WordPress blog, as well as Blogger and TypePad sites. We are hoping to extend the RecipagePRO service to WordPress.com and Tumblr sites eventually. In the meantime, you can sign up for our other Recipage program, that is compatible with every blogging platform. Bloggers simply direct their readers to their personalized Recipage link, where all their recipes can then be searched, browsed, and printed.
How long does it take to set up?
While it may seem daunting at first, the recipe entry system is very simple. For both the ingredients and instructions, you can simply copy and paste the info straight from your blog post, including all formatting and pictures. Once the content is added, we automatically remove the pictures and any additional formatting. As a general rule of thumb, plan for a couple minutes to add the link or coding to your site, a few more minutes to select your font, colors, and layouts, and a few minutes per recipe. Depending on the number of recipes you need to enter, this shouldn’t be a big time commitment – a few hours or so. If you have any questions about recipe entry, please don’t hesitate to email us and ask for help.
How does Recipage benefit me as a blogger?
Recipage provides a place for your recipes to stay organized and updated. Additionally, your readers will enjoy the ability to search, browse, print, and view recipes in a streamlined and organized system. We hear from users every day who love how easy it is to find recipes based on ingredients, or quickly print something when they need to get dinner on the table. As you know, happy readers are a huge benefit to you as a blogger!
For RecipagePRO users, there are additional advantages. Unlike other recipe sites, RecipagePRO actually loads and displays the recipes directly on your site. This means that every click, search, and browse by a user results in new pageviews for you! But while you receive all the pageviews and hits, the actual loading and data storage takes place on our dedicated servers, so you don’t have to worry about your site crashing or taking too long to load. We see it as a win-win situation!
I’m a RecipagePRO user. I tried installing the code on my site, and it’s not working. Can you help?
First, walk through the steps and make sure you entered the code correctly (in the HTML tab of the page editor). Also, make sure you are testing your code on a LIVE site, not a draft. It’s okay to make the page public, since you won’t be linking to it anywhere and readers won’t be able to find it. If your code still isn’t working, send us a quick email and we’ll help you get it up and running quickly so that you can begin using all the wonderful features of Recipage!
I have more questions…
Please email us at recipage@gmail.com. We’d be happy to help in any way that we can, and we are always looking for feedback and ways to improve our product.

First of all, I’ve just come across Recipage at KathEats… It seems like a great product and I’m happy to try it out.
I have one question about it:
1) How do I install Recipage on my blog with a page tab?
I’ll thank you now for your response.
Sincerely,
Mireya Merritt

Hi Mireya,
To embed your Recipage into a page on your blog, you will need to be a RecipagePRO user (Kath is a PRO user). For the free version of Recipage, you will need to link out to your custom URL, in your case http://www.recipage.com/MyHealthyEatingHabits.com/.
You can create the link on your blog or we have HTML code for buttons and widgets in your My Settings->Widget Gallery.
Let us know if you have any other questions or are interested in upgrading to a free trial of RecipagePRO. You can email us at recipage@gmail.com.
